LEGO Creator Expert VESTAS WIND TURBINE (10268 Rüzgar Türbini) Seti Duyuruldu

LEGO, geçtiğimiz yıl “Out of the Vault (Arşivden)” sloganı ile çıkardığı yeni Taj Mahal setinin (10256) trendini devam ettirerek, geçmişte çok sevilen; fakat kısıtlı sayıda üretilen setlerinden biri olan Vestas Wind Turbine (4999 Vestas Rüzgar Türbini) setini 10268 kodu ile tüm LEGOseverler için yeniden piyasaya çıkaracağını duyurdu.

Bu set duyurusunun birkaç farklı açıdan önemi var; fakat en dikkat çekici noktası, çok nadir bulunan bir seti herkes tarafından erişilebilir hale getiriyor olması; zira 4999 no’lu orijinal set, 2008 yılında, dünyanın en büyük rüzgar türbini üreticilerinden biri olan Danimarkalı Vestas firmasına özel olarak, sadece bu firmanın çalışanları için çıkarılmıştı. Bu nedenle de ikinci el fiyatları ciddi ölçüde el yakıyordu.

Yeni çıkacak olan 10268 seti de bazı parçalardaki ufak renk değişiklikleri ve sticker yerine baskılı parça kullanması dışında, aynı Taj Mahal seti gibi, orijinaline tümüyle sadık. Hatta, bu nedenden ötürü, sette, LEGO’nun yeni nesil güç platformu olan Powered Up yerine, artık eski sayılabilecek Power Functions platformu kullanılıyor.

Bu setin bir diğer önemli noktası ise, LEGO’nun doğayı koruma ve sürdürülebilirlik yönünde attığı adımların bir göstergesi olarak, rüzgar enerjisini ön plana çıkarması ve bitki bazlı plastikten üretilmiş bir ladin ağacı parçası içermesi.

Setin, olumsuz olarak görülebilecek bir yanı ise, her ne kadar bitmiş modelinin boyu 1 metreyi geçse de, parça sayısına göre pahalı olması.

The LEGO Creator Expert Vestas® Wind Turbinehas been designed in partnership with the sets’ namesake and world’s leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, Vestas®, who have installed 65,000 wind turbines in around 80 countries.

The 826-piece model stands nearly a meter-high towering over a wooded hill, featuring the new ‘Plants from Plants’ spruce tree. Made from plant-based plastic sourced from sugarcane, the inclusion of these elements is part of the first steps in the LEGO Group’s ambition to use sustainable materials in productsby 2030 and packaging by 2025.

This latest installment in the LEGO Creator Expert Series has been designed to provide a challenging and rewarding building experience with a touch of nostalgia, with builders discovering a house complete with a furnished patio and a working porch light and powered wind turbine, as well as three LEGO Vestas® servicemen Minifigures and a LEGO dog.

The set measures 100cm high, 72cm wide and 31cm deep and features adjustable wind blades (not as big as the real thing of course, which measures more than 2m longer than a London double-decker bus, but impressive none the least), detailed tower, movable nacelle with aircraft warning lights and power functions to automate the set.
